Bible Fellowship Church seeks to minister to the whole church family through a number of avenues, as listed below:
Nursery
A nursery is provided during all major events at the church.
Sunday School
Sunday School classes are provided for all age groups from pre-primary through adults. We encourage our families to be fully involved in this ministry. If you need a ride to Sunday school, please call 395-1778 to arrange to be picked up.
Current adult classes include:
- Mixed class (men & women) - The Study of Ezra & Nehemiah
- Mixed class - Fundamentals of the Faith
- Women's class - "Joyous Journeys Around the Detours": The Book of Philippians
Youth Ministries
Junior Church is offered during the regular morning worship service. It is for children age 3 years old through 6th grade.
During the school year we offer the AWANA program for children ages 3 through 8th grade. AWANA runs from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. If you would like a ride to the Wednesday night services, please call 395-1778 - leave your name and telephone number so a pick up can be scheduled.
During the summer months a children's program continues with Bible Clubs from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. There is singing, a devotional, games and refreshments.
Vacation Bible School is offered for children from our church family and others in the community. This year VBS will be held June 6 - 10 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with the Vermaas Family - Good News for Little People.
Church Camp is encouraged for our youth during one week of the summer. For the past several years the children have attended Whispering Winds Bible Camp in St. James, MO.
Van Ministry
We run vans throughout the community for both the Sunday Morning and Wednesday Night services. Anyone interested should contact the church to be scheduled for pickup. The vans are also used for both youth and adult outings.
Women’s Ministries
The third Tuesday of each month, the women meet for fellowship and a Bible study. The Women's Fellowship is also in charge of the banquets and special events held during the year at the church. The women of the church also provide meals to families of the church during/after hospitalizations and when there has been a death in a family.
The first Thursday of each month, there is a women's Bible Study - it is currently being held at the church. The current study is "Esther - It's Tough Being a Women" - by Beth Moore.
Men’s Ministries
An occasional Men’s breakfast is planned with a program to motivate and build up spiritually the men of the church. Leadership and family responsibilities are usually emphasized.
Around Father’s Day the women of the church often honor the men with a breakfast or evening banquet.
Music
Members of our church family are encouraged to use their musical talent by singing in the choir or providing special music during one of the services. Both vocal and instrumental arrangements are appreciated.
